Temple Cat

Well,

as I hang out here,

on my comfy bed,

which I just happen to let The Big Two Legged One

sleep in when she's here, I happen to know

that she's not here

because

she's in India.

India!

So for the next few weeks,

if she will deign to do it for us,

our Big Two Legged One

will offer you pictures of stuff

she sees in India.

Like this temple cat,

that she spotted on a visit to a Jain Temple in Mumbai:

I just hope she doesn't decide

to bring one of these home with her

as a souvenir. . .

We don't have much snow where we are, but look at Russia:

we'd jump on this silly dog.

Wordless Wednesday, from Pişi and Squeak

Pişi and Squeak hangin' out in the bed.

Now,

we all know Pişi is deaf.

She really can't hear a thing,

though she feels

vibrations.

At her advancing age,

(she's 13 and she has that gimpy eye)

we sometimes wonder if,

when she climbs in bed with Squeak,

she can really see her.

What do you think?

(She's nuts if she thinks I don't know Squeak is there!

I just tolerate her, you know!)
