The orchid is lovely. Have you had a little nom on it yet? :-)
We don't see a thing wrong with the chair. Seriously, we can't see any ripped edge. And it's Squeak's chair anyway, not your human's, so she's free to do as she pleases with it!
My Human has a nice yellow orchid she gotted as a Krissymouse present out in the kitchen.
I think I might whap it onto the floor later.
