So,
what do we do
when the Big Two Legged One
is off at work?
Well,
she sleeps,
and I sleep,
and believe it or not,
we stay pretty close together.
It's a funny thing:
it's as if Squeak knows
I can't hear,
and when I wake up afraid that I'm alone,
I discover
she's there --
. . . she's really not that bad,
after all.

Aww, such a sweet post! I tend to do a lot of napping when MY big two-legged one is at work, but I don't have a furriend (yet).
Ahoy me mateys! Yer a pair of fine furry wenches ;-)
(oops--I **think** you are--nobody's a boy over there--right???)
Yeah, don't tell but we keep an eye on each other too...
When I do that my dad love to annoy me and laugh...but It's sweet time of family : )
xoxo
The mom thinks we must sleep most of the day too, but sometimes she comes home to find stuff "rearranged," so knows we've been tweaking her decorating. ;-)
Hey, nice hardwood floors in your house! But I bet when you need to hack up a hairball, you always aim for one of those carpets, don't you?
How sweet that Squeak stays nearby! Our Chuckles (deaf) used to stand in the foyer and howl until he got some company.
