Pet Stores or Pet Adoption?

Now,

both Pişi and I 

are adopted cats,

brought into

the BTLO's house

when we were about

two years old,

so

we are rather partial to how animals should get homes.

But,

one wonders

if Austin has taken it too 

far.

Let us know what you think --

we promise, we 

won't be offended

if you

say the pet stores should have

equal rights.

We just have our own

It's Cold Where We Live . . . .

. . . . really cold!

Today it was 11 degree Fahrenheit.

Humans think

we are lucky,

spoiled,

pampered

cats,
and yeah,
I guess we are!

Our mom makes sure

we always have food and

warmth,

even when she's away

for a long time.

She's kind of wacky that way.

But we would love to go outside;

we stare out the windows 

all day long and fantasize
about chasing birds and sniffing
in all those
beautiful places,
even in the snow.

We know how fun it is for animals that go

outside,

but please,

remember:

cats and dogs

can't take the cold!

and neighbors

who are

that's just the craziest thing

I've ever heard.

I mean, honestly,

folks might call

the BTLO

a "cat lady,"

but she'd never try

to marry a cat.

she knows any self-respecting cat

would  say "no."
